Anatomy is a branch of natural science (biology) dealing with the structural organization of living things. It concerned with the study of structure and parts of organisms. One of the basic essential sciences of medicine is Human anatomy. Anatomy and physiology are studied together because these two deal with structure and function of organisms and their parts (respectively).

Anatomy is divided into microscopic and macroscopic anatomy. Microscopic anatomy involves the use of optical instruments in the study of the tissues of various structures, known as histology, and also in the study of cells. Using unaided eyesight in Macroscopic anatomy, or gross anatomy, animal bodies are examined. Gross anatomy includes also superficial anatomy branch.

Embryology

A human begins life as a fertilized ovum. Millions of cells that form the human body are raised due to this cell only. Histology

Histology also Microanatomy is the study of the anatomy of cells and tissues of plants and animals using light microscopic or electro microscopic. Where live animal cells are isolated and maintained in an artificial environment for various research projects are conducted using tissue culture in Histology studies. There are four major types of animal tissue: muscle tissue, nervous tissue, connective tissue and epithelial tissue.

Prepare very selective topics and no need to mug it up everything in Histology. Frequently a question is raised from this topic so prepare it well. Most important topics being types of Epithelium and derivatives of different types of Epithelium.
